Must've been tough to pass on Crabtree, who was apparently the top player on Ted's draft board, but it shows how important it was to improve the run defense and give Capers a big body on the inside of the new scheme. We filled our biggest need with Raji, and that, dear readers, is just smart stuff, plain and simple. Great pick.
Looking forward to the rest of the draft. I'm going to crack a beer and hope for more defense, and maybe an offensive lineman as well. Maybe we'll draft a couple thousand pounds of rookies this weekend! Ha cha cha.
